How to Wear Tights to Make Your Legs Look Longer

It’s simple really… wear shoes that are the same colour as your tights and you will create the illusion that your legs go on forever. Susannah’s second top tights tip is, “choose a colour that is already in the pattern of your dress, that way your tights will effortlessly complement your outfit. Black is always the easy choice but it can so often deaden an otherwise vibrant look. Tights are a relatively inexpensive way to draw all the elements of your outfit together so try to think about your colour choice.”

Oh and BY THE WAY, we are so proud to launch our own range of opaque body-shaping tights in a beautiful range of muted colours. These are tights with secret super powers – they are designed with built-in control panels that give the same bum-lifting, tummy-flattening effect as a pair of magic knickers. One garment – twice the oomph!

Great tips Susannah – something so simple as wearing the same colour shoes to match one’s tights. In cold weather, I also like to match my footwear with opaque tights. Worn under trousers they are much more comfortable than men’s traditional long johns.
